Battle Rider : - A large warship without Jump Drive that is carried to and from battle by massive jump capable Battle Tenders. This allows the battle rider to carry more weapons and be more maneuverable than if it had a Jump Drive.
Battle Tender : - Large dispersed structure vessel designed to carry Battle Riders to and from a battle.
Belt Mining : - The processof mining a planetary systems asteroid belts for metals.
Belter : - A person who mines asteroids for a living. Also used to refer to any persons living in an asteroid belt.
Bilani : - The orginal language of the Vilani. Also sometimes used to refer to Galanglic script.
Boat : - A term used to refer to a non-jump capable space vessel. Usually used for defensive craft. See also Ships Boat, System Defense Boat.
Book of Brae : - This is the religious text of the Navan Federation which is followed by the citizens and taught by the Agglish. It contains many prophecies and sayings which Imperial Naval Intelligence is beginning to translate.
